VEXCEL SPAIN DRONE TEAM CONQUISTA LA EAGLE CUP 2026 Y AMPLIA SU VENTAJA AL FRENTE DE LA DCL.
El Vexcel Spain Drone Team vuelve a hacer historia en la Drone Champions League. Después de conquistar la Falcon Cup, el equipo se proclama también campeón de la Eagle Cup 2026 tras imponerse a Cyclone Racing por 37-13 en una final en la que el bloque volvió a ser la principal fortaleza del VDT. RedSheep y Shturman compartieron además el reconocimiento como mejores pilotos de las Eagle Cup Finals, mientras que RedSheep volvió a establecer el mejor tiempo de la competición.
El 20 de septiembre de 2026 quedará marcado como otro día importante en la historia del Vexcel Spain Drone Team.
El equipo español se proclamó campeón de la Eagle Cup 2026 de la Drone Champions League, completando una Final Four en la que terminó imponiéndose a todos sus rivales y consiguiendo su segunda Copa consecutiva de la temporada.
Y lo hizo, además, con una actuación especialmente contundente en la final.
El VDT se enfrentó a Cyclone Racing, un equipo que había conseguido alcanzar la gran final después de recorrer todo el camino de la repesca. El resultado final fue de 37-13 para el Vexcel Spain Drone Team.

VEXCEL SPAIN DRONE TEAM CLAIMS THE 2026 EAGLE CUP AND EXTENDS ITS LEAD AT THE TOP OF THE DCL.
The Vexcel Spain Drone Team has made history once again in the Drone Champions League. After winning the Falcon Cup, the team has now been crowned 2026 Eagle Cup Champions, defeating Cyclone Racing 37–13 in a final where teamwork once again proved to be the VDT’s greatest strength. RedSheep and Shturman also shared the honour of being named the Best Pilots of the Eagle Cup Finals, while RedSheep once again set the fastest time of the competition.
September 20, 2026, will go down as another important date in the history of the Vexcel Spain Drone Team.
The Spanish team was crowned 2026 Eagle Cup Champions in the Drone Champions League, completing a Final Four in which they overcame every opponent and secured their second consecutive Cup of the season.
And they did so with a particularly dominant performance in the final.
The VDT faced Cyclone Racing, a team that had reached the grand final after making its way all the way through the repechage bracket. The final score was 37–13 in favour of the Vexcel Spain Drone Team.
Una Final Four superada con autoridad
El Vexcel Spain Drone Team llegaba a la Final Four como primer cabeza de serie, después de una fase de clasificación extremadamente igualada en la que el equipo consiguió terminar en primera posición.
En los cuartos de final, el rival fue Raiden Racing.
El VDT consiguió controlar el enfrentamiento desde el comienzo y terminó imponiéndose por 19-11, resultado que le permitió acceder directamente a las semifinales.

En el otro lado del cuadro, Cyclone Racing y Wildcard Team protagonizaron uno de los enfrentamientos más igualados de la jornada. El duelo terminó con empate 15-15, teniendo que recurrir al desempate para determinar qué equipo continuaba por el cuadro principal.
El Wildcard Team consiguió entonces avanzar a la semifinal, mientras Cyclone tuvo que continuar su camino por el Rebound Bracket.
El VDT se mete en la final
En semifinales, el Vexcel Spain Drone Team se encontró precisamente con Wildcard Team.
La actuación del equipo volvió a ser muy sólida y el VDT consiguió una victoria por 21-9, asegurando su presencia en la gran final de la Eagle Cup.

Mientras tanto, Cyclone Racing tuvo que completar un recorrido mucho más largo.
Después de caer inicialmente ante Wildcard, consiguió superar a Raiden Racing por 22-8 en el Rebound Quarter Final y posteriormente derrotó a Wildcard por 16-14 en el Rebound Semi Final.
De esta manera, Cyclone logró regresar al cuadro principal y convertirse en el segundo finalista de la Eagle Cup.
La gran final comenzó con máxima igualdad.
La primera ronda terminó con un 5-5, después del enfrentamiento entre RedSheep y Silvio por parte del VDT frente a Cryson y Razbri de Cyclone.
Pero a partir de ese momento, el Vexcel Spain Drone Team comenzó a imponer su ritmo.
En la segunda ronda, It’s_D y Shturman consiguieron un 7-3.
Y cuando llegó el momento de poner a todo el equipo en pista, el VDT terminó de decantar el enfrentamiento.
Las tres rondas restantes terminaron con resultados de: 9-1, 7-3 y 9-1
para el Vexcel Spain Drone Team.

Una diferencia de 24 puntos que refleja la superioridad del VDT durante la mayor parte de la final.
A Dominant Run Through the Final Four
The Vexcel Spain Drone Team entered the Final Four as the top seed, following an extremely competitive qualifying stage in which the team finished in first place.
In the quarter-finals, the VDT faced Raiden Racing.
The VDT controlled the matchup from the very beginning and eventually secured a 19–11 victory, earning a direct spot in the semi-finals.

On the other side of the bracket, Cyclone Racing and Wildcard Team delivered one of the closest matchups of the day. The duel ended 15–15, requiring a tiebreaker to determine which team would continue through the main bracket.
Wildcard Team advanced to the semi-finals, while Cyclone had to continue its journey through the Rebound Bracket.
VDT Reaches the Final
In the semi-finals, the Vexcel Spain Drone Team faced Wildcard Team.
Once again, the team delivered a very solid performance, securing a 21–9 victory and booking its place in the Eagle Cup Grand Final.

Meanwhile, Cyclone Racing had to take a much longer route to reach the final.
After initially losing to Wildcard, Cyclone defeated Raiden Racing 22–8 in the Rebound Quarter-Final and then overcame Wildcard 16–14 in the Rebound Semi-Final.
This allowed Cyclone to return to the main bracket and become the second finalist of the Eagle Cup.
The Grand Final
The Grand Final began with the two teams evenly matched.
The first round ended 5–5, following the matchup between RedSheep and Silvio for the VDT and Cryson and Razbri for Cyclone.
But from that point onwards, the Vexcel Spain Drone Team began to impose its pace.
In the second round, It’s_D and Shturman secured a 7–3 victory.
And when it was time for the entire team to take to the track, the VDT fully took control of the matchup.
The remaining three rounds ended 9–1, 7–3 and 9–1 in favour of the Vexcel Spain Drone Team.

Cuatro pilotos, un solo equipo
La Eagle Cup ha vuelto a poner de manifiesto una de las principales características del Vexcel Spain Drone Team: la capacidad de competir como un auténtico bloque.
Los cuatro pilotos que defendieron los colores del VDT en la final fueron:
Silvio — Capitán
El capitán del equipo volvió a asumir la responsabilidad de liderar al VDT en una final de la DCL. Su experiencia y capacidad para trabajar junto al resto de pilotos volvieron a ser importantes en un formato en el que cada punto puede terminar siendo decisivo.
RedSheep
Una vez más, RedSheep estuvo entre los grandes protagonistas de la competición.
Además de compartir el reconocimiento como Best Pilot de las Eagle Cup Finals, consiguió algo que ya se está convirtiendo en una de sus señas de identidad: marcar el ritmo más rápido de toda la competición.
Su tiempo de 2:16.191, conseguido durante la quinta heat de la final, fue el mejor registro de las Eagle Cup Finals.
Shturman
Shturman volvió a demostrar la regularidad y consistencia que le han convertido en uno de los referentes del equipo.
Su actuación en la Eagle Cup le permitió terminar empatado con RedSheep como mejor piloto de las Eagle Cup Finals, ambos con 24 puntos acumulados en ocho heats.
It’s_D
El cuarto integrante del VDT en esta final fue It’s_D, que completó junto a Shturman la segunda ronda de la final y formó parte del bloque que terminó inclinando definitivamente el enfrentamiento hacia el lado español.
Four Pilots, One Team
The Eagle Cup once again highlighted one of the defining strengths of the Vexcel Spain Drone Team: the ability to compete as one united block.
The four pilots who represented the VDT in the final were:
Silvio — Captain
The team’s captain once again took on the responsibility of leading the VDT in a DCL final. His experience and ability to work alongside his teammates proved important in a format where every single point can make the difference.
RedSheep
Once again, RedSheep was one of the standout performers of the competition.
In addition to sharing the Best Pilot award at the Eagle Cup Finals, he achieved something that is becoming one of his trademarks: setting the fastest pace of the entire competition.
His 2:16.191 time, recorded during the fifth heat of the final, was the fastest lap of the Eagle Cup Finals.
Shturman
Shturman once again demonstrated the consistency and reliability that have made him one of the team’s key pilots.
His performance at the Eagle Cup saw him finish tied with RedSheep as the Best Pilot of the Eagle Cup Finals, with both pilots scoring 24 points across eight heats.
It’s_D
The fourth member of the VDT in the final was It’s_D, who teamed up with Shturman in the second round of the final and played his part in the team effort that ultimately shifted the matchup decisively in the Spanish team’s favour.

Uno de los grandes titulares individuales de la Eagle Cup tiene también color VDT.
RedSheep y Shturman terminaron empatados a 24 puntos como los pilotos con mayor puntuación de las Eagle Cup Finals, compartiendo de esta manera el reconocimiento de Best Pilot.
Y RedSheep añadió además el reconocimiento al piloto más rápido de las Finals, con un tiempo de 02:16.191.
Se trata de un doble reconocimiento especialmente significativo porque ambos pilotos ya habían sido protagonistas en la primera Copa de la temporada. En la Falcon Cup, Shturman fue reconocido como mejor piloto y RedSheep consiguió también el mejor tiempo de carrera.

One of the biggest individual highlights of the Eagle Cup also came from the VDT.
RedSheep and Shturman finished tied on 24 points as the highest-scoring pilots of the Eagle Cup Finals, sharing the Best Pilot award.
RedSheep also added the recognition of Fastest Pilot of the Finals, with a time of 02:16.191.
This double recognition is particularly significant because both pilots had already played a leading role in the first Cup of the season. At the Falcon Cup, Shturman was named Best Pilot, while RedSheep also set the fastest race time.
Dos Copas, dos victorias
La victoria en la Eagle Cup tiene una importancia especial dentro de la temporada 2026.
El Vexcel Spain Drone Team ya había conquistado la Falcon Cup, por lo que esta nueva victoria significa que el equipo ha conseguido ganar las dos primeras Copas de la temporada.
Además, según los resultados publicados por la DCL, el VDT ha sumado los 10 puntos correspondientes a la victoria en la Eagle Cup, elevando su puntuación hasta los 20 puntos en la clasificación general.

The victory in the Eagle Cup holds special significance within the 2026 season.
The Vexcel Spain Drone Team had already claimed the Falcon Cup, meaning this latest victory gives the team wins in both of the first two Cups of the season.
Furthermore, according to the results published by the DCL, the VDT has earned the 10 points awarded for winning the Eagle Cup, bringing its total to 20 points in the overall standings.
Ahora, el objetivo es la Super Final
Pero el campeonato todavía no ha terminado.
La temporada 2026 de la Drone Champions League está estructurada en tres Cups: Falcon, Eagle y Hawk. Después de las dos primeras, el Vexcel Spain Drone Team lidera la clasificación con 20 puntos de los 20 posibles.
La próxima parada será la Hawk Cup, la tercera y última prueba de la temporada regular.
Será entonces cuando se decidan las posiciones definitivas que determinarán los equipos que accederán a la Super Final de la DCL 2026.
Y el VDT llega a esa última batalla en una situación privilegiada: dos Cups conquistadas, 20 puntos y cinco de ventaja sobre sus perseguidores.
Pero en el Vexcel Spain Drone Team sabemos que todavía queda mucho por hacer.

La Eagle Cup no ha sido únicamente otra victoria para el palmarés del Vexcel Spain Drone Team.
Ha sido también una demostración de que el trabajo realizado durante toda la temporada está dando sus frutos.
Silvio, RedSheep, Shturman e It’s_D han vuelto a demostrar que el éxito del VDT no depende únicamente de la velocidad individual de sus pilotos.
La velocidad importa.

Pero, sobre todo, importa el equipo.

Now, the Goal Is the Super Final
But the championship is not over yet.
The 2026 season of the Drone Champions League is structured around three Cups: Falcon, Eagle and Hawk. After the first two, the Vexcel Spain Drone Team leads the standings with 20 points out of a possible 20.
The next stop will be the Hawk Cup, the third and final event of the regular season.
It will be there that the final standings are decided, determining which teams will qualify for the 2026 DCL Super Final.
And the VDT heads into this final battle in a privileged position: two Cups won, 20 points and a five-point lead over its closest challengers.
But at the Vexcel Spain Drone Team, we know there is still a lot of work to do.
A Team That Keeps Growing
The Eagle Cup has not simply been another victory for the Vexcel Spain Drone Team’s trophy cabinet.
It has also been proof that the work carried out throughout the season is paying off.
Silvio, RedSheep, Shturman and It’s_D have once again demonstrated that the VDT’s success does not depend solely on the individual speed of its pilots.
